What Tonite is

Tonite recommends movies and shows based on the mood, company, and time you tell us about. By using the app you agree to these terms.

Tonite is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix, Max, Disney+, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Peacock, Paramount+, Tubi, Crunchyroll, or any other streaming service. Their names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to tell you where a title can be watched.

Recommendations are informational

Picks are generated with the help of AI and public information. Ratings, runtimes, and streaming availability are best-effort and can be wrong or out of date. Availability in particular changes often and varies by region. A recommendation is not a promise that a title is available on your services or that you'll like it (though we do our best on both).

Acceptable use

Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't abuse the service: no automated scraping of the recommendation API, no attempts to disrupt or overload it, no reverse engineering except where the law says we can't stop you.

Watching content

Tonite doesn't stream anything itself. When you follow a pick to a streaming service, that service's own terms, subscription requirements, and fees apply.

No warranty

Tonite is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of information. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tonite and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including a badly chosen movie night, which we regret but cannot be sued over.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; continuing to use Tonite after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be called out in the app.
